Insure your Lloyd

A LLOYD is built to be used every day, and to be enjoyed with complete peace of mind. Because cargo bikes are unfortunately also attractive to thieves, good insurance matters.

Your LLOYD can be insured against theft and damage from approximately 12 to 22 euros per month, depending on your postal code. The insurance offers full casco coverage, so you can ride freely and confidently, knowing your LLOYD is well protected.

If you would like to insure your LLOYD, simply send us an email after your purchase. We will help you get everything set up and guide you through the registration process.

After registration, the insurer will contact you to confirm your details and activate your coverage. Simple, clear and straightforward.

Insurance Requirements

To keep your insurance valid, your LLOYD must be secured with a ring lock and an additional chain lock whenever it is parked. These locks are not included as standard and can be selected during the assembly of your LLOYD.

All locks offered by LLOYD meet the requirements of recognised insurers. Following these requirements ensures continuous insurance coverage and protects your vehicle against theft.

Policy Setup and Management

Once registered, your Kingpolis policy becomes active upon delivery of your LLOYD. You will receive your policy documents directly from Kingpolis by email.
